Our PTO is growing, and we are looking for dedicated volunteers to serve as Chairperson for several PTO committees.

These roles are a great way to share your time, talents, ideas, and connections while helping make TLC a welcoming and connected school community. You do not have to do everything yourself. As a Committee Chairperson, you will help organize your team, coordinate activities, and work alongside other PTO volunteers to bring ideas to life.

We have opportunities for a variety of interests and strengths. Whether you enjoy being creative, meeting new people, planning events, connecting with local businesses, or simply helping families feel welcome, there is a place for you.

Committee Chairperson Opportunities

PTO Communications & Creative Team

Help keep our PTO community connected.

Help share event reminders, fun updates, photos, and highlights through our website and social media. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys being creative, taking pictures, making flyers, or sharing information with families.

PTO Welcome & Volunteer Team

Help families and volunteers feel welcome and appreciated.

Help welcome new PTO members, distribute PTO swag, and make sure our volunteers know how much they are valued. Help create a welcoming experience for families who are getting involved with TLC for the first time.

Spirit Night Team

Turn a meal out into fundraising for TLC.

Help connect with local restaurants and coordinate our monthly Spirit Nights. Share event details with families, spread the word, and help celebrate the results of each fundraiser.

Community Connections Team

Help TLC build relationships throughout our community.

Connect with local businesses that may be interested in supporting TLC through sponsorships, donations, or special programs. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys meeting people, networking, and building community partnerships.

Family Fun Team

Help make TLC family time extra special.

Help plan fun family activities, such as movie nights, and share information about autism-friendly events happening throughout our community. Bring your ideas and help create opportunities for TLC families to spend time together and connect.

Grand Opening Celebration Team

Help us celebrate an important TLC milestone.

Be part of our January Ribbon Cutting celebration by helping coordinate community guests, media, booths, and other special touches. Help us create a memorable celebration for our students, families, staff, and school community.

Hospitality & Goodies Team

Help make PTO meetings and events warm, welcoming, and enjoyable.

Help coordinate refreshments, create fun presentations, and assist with setup and cleanup. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys entertaining, organizing, and adding thoughtful details to events.

Teacher & PTO Connection Team

A special opportunity for a TLC staff member.

Help keep communication flowing between TLC staff and the PTO. Share the staff perspective and help the PTO understand what would be most helpful when planning school-related events and activities.

This role is a great way for a staff member to help connect teachers, staff, families, and PTO volunteers and ensure everyone’s perspective is considered.
